Ke$ha x Andre 3000 - "Sleazy" (Remix)

I’m going to choose not to comment on why hip-hop’s best lyricists, OutKast’s Andre 3000, chose to work his magic on a track by the woman responsible for “Tik Tok.” I’m also not going to comment on what makes Ke$ha’s music so compelling – I’d like to say it’s that car-wreck-can’t-look-away effect, that this-is-so-bad-I-have-to-know-more feeling, but it’s not. “Sleazy” is so flawlessly dirty, that beat is so perfect, Ke$ha is so foul-mouthed – you cannot deny it. You especially can’t deny it when Andre drops less than a minute of dizzying rhymes that probably read like short fiction. His lyrics have approximately twenty times the depth of Ke$ha’s, but since when is pop music this mindless celebrated for its lyrics anyway?
