After a nearly two year break from the pop charts (an eternity in pop culture years) Lady Gaga is returning with a new album, ARTPOP. Our first taste from the album was to be a song called "Applause," which is set to be released on August 19th and then be performed live at the MTV VMAs on August 26th, but the internet had other plans. Earlier today a brand new Gaga song called "Burqa" (also referred to as "Aura" in some reports) surfaced. It's a pretty weird song - at first she sounds a bit like "Kid A" if Radiohead had been to The Dustbowl, but before long "Burqa" is kicking down the wall with some face melting electro phasers circa Justice's Audio Video Disco. You can listen to it below, for as long as the stream stays up:
ARTPOP is out November 11.
