Hear the Mount Kimbie-sampling track now

Any hip hop producer who sample progressive U.K. beatmakers like SBTRKT, James Blake or Mount Kimbie deserves the highest of accolades, in my humble opinion. Having said that, you could imagine my delight when Hit-Boy revealed today the latest from his We the Plug crew album, which is based largely on Mount Kimbie's "Blood and Form" from last year's Cold Spring Fault Less Youth. For "Scorn," the Grammy award-winning producer enlists the likes of Kid Cudi, Audio Push and Kent M$ney to rap over a very unorthodox loop for a hip hop song, integrated with record scratches, random saxophone solos, and other such samples. Stream it below; Hit-Boy and HS87's We the Plug is available now over at iTunes.
