REC'D: Iceage - "Forever"

In "best album title of the year" news, it's from their new LP, Plowing Into the Field of Love.

We'd been suspecting and hoping our favorite Danish punks Iceage would be announcing a new LP soon on account of how much we love their reinventive recent single "The Lord's Favorite," and we were right - here's "Forever," our first taste from their upcoming third record and possibly the best-titled LP of 2014, Plowing Into the Field of Love. The song's great, sounding halfway between the saloon-storming stomp of "The Lord's Favorite" and the driving, morose post-punk of songs like "Morals" off You're Nothing or their devastating 2013 cover of Sinead O'Connor's "Jackie." And oh my God, those horns! Check it out via its video below, directed by Catherine Pattinama Coleman, while you wait for the rest of the record, out October 7th via Matador. Check out the tracklist below too.
