The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will reissue their great 2014 record Days of Abandon next week with five bonus tracks, and you can hear one of those now, "Poison Touch," which frontman Kip Berman claims he wrote for Taylor Swift. Though it's the kind of bubbly twee pop we can see Taylor getting into, the lead vocal track's actually delivered in grand style by A Sunny Day in Glasgow's Jen Goma. It's a great listen, with plenty of dreamy guitars and a catchy vocal line; it'll fit perfectly alongside the sugary, jittery twee of the original tracklist. Check it out while you wait for the reissue, out September 22nd.
From the deluxe edition of Days of Abandon, out next week.
