James Hinton a.k.a. The Range mesmerized audiences with 2013's Nonfiction, blending together the worlds of electronic music, hip hop, and drum and bass into a fluid, unified genre. After dropping this year's Panasonic EP, Hinton is now sharing with us a new single called "Rayman," which will appear on Dropping Gem's fourth annual compilation, Gem Drops. The collection of tunes from the Portland-based label will also feature Philip Grass, Devonwho and Natasha Kmeto. "Rayman," like much of his work, is that type of electronic music that's too fast-paced to rap over, but too slow to dance to (think Machinehead). Listen in below; Gem Drops Four is out on July 29th.
