It's been a while since we've heard new material from Kid Sister, but it turns out she's been working hard since releasing her last new music in 2011 - you can now stream DUSK2DAWN: The Diary of Jane Jupiter, a ten-track mixtape she's just released. It's a great listen - for one, it's awesome to hear Melisa Young's voice again, and she reigns supreme over her own production as well as beats from Chad Hugo of the Neptunes, GTA, and more. On one track, she raps alongside Dam-Funk; on another, over Lana Del Rey's "Carmen." And toward the middle, you'll meet her new sci-fi hero alter ego, Jane Jupiter. Check it out.
