Mumford & Sons' Marcus Mumford Records Lost Bob Dylan Song

"When I Get My Hands On You," one of several unrecorded Dylan lyrics recently uncovered.
The Basement Tapes

Recently, a bunch of unrecorded Bob Dylan lyrics dating back to 1967 were discovered, and a cadre of monsters of folk got together to do something about making sure they weren't just languishing in purgatory. Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons, Elvis Costello, and T-Bone Burnett are just a few of those involved in Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, a forthcoming EP of these recorded tracks. They've just shared "When I Get My Hands On You," fronted by Mumford, who presides in his singular voice with Dylan's charmingly creepy lyrics over plenty of plucked violin. Check it out - The New Basement Tapes is out November 11th.
