New Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, Thom Yorke, and Killers on 'New Moon'

The indietastic soundtrack for the upcoming Twilight sequel has leaked, spurring a lot of excitement amongst the blogs. Excitement not misplaced, may I add. I've only had a short while with the soundtrack, but it's definitely a great collection of songs; a NOW That's What I Call Indie Music of sorts.

On the flip side, some people hate the idea of their favorite bands coming together to score a cheesy vampire romance movie. Get. Over. It. The first soundtrack sold over 2.4 million copies in the US alone and it featured tracks by Iron & Wine, The Black Ghosts, Mute Math, as well as Muse and Paramore. Maybe having our precious indie/alternative music reach the ears of millions of crazed, adolescent girls isn't ideal, but I still think the more people that are into it, the merrier. And the cherry on top are these songs by Bon Iver & St. Vincent, Grizzly Bear and Beach House's Victoria Legrand, Thom Yorke, and the Killers:

Bon Iver & St. Vincent - Roslyn

Grizzly Bear - Slow Life

Thom Yorke - Hearing Damage

The Killers - A White Demon Love Song
