New Bon Iver - "I Can't Make You Love Me / Nick of Time"

Just one more day until one of the most anticipated indie records of the year, the followup to 2007's cult classic For Emma, Forever Ago, comes out proper for the entire music appreciating community to hear. Bon Iver, Bon Iver, the eponymous sophomore LP from singer/songwriter Justin Vernon, will feature tracks that have been floating amidst the blogosphere including “Calgary” and “Perth.” The former is going to be released as a 12” single, and is backed with a medley of Bonny Rait covers, which is now available for streaming, check it below.

Unlike the new album where Vernon's gathered a crew of musicians to help perpetuate a more produced sound, “I Can't Make You Love Me/Nick Of Time” shares more with his debut, consisting of that lovely falsetto of his and soft accompaniment, though in the form of gentle piano keys rather than acoustic guitar strings. Bon Iver, Bon Iver is out tomorrow via Jagjaguwar.
