New Music: Empress Of + Khalid, DOOM, A. Savage

DJDS, fka DJ Dodger Stadium, has enlisted Brooklyn songstress Empress Of and El Paso singer and Sunday’s VMA winner for Best New Artist, Khalid, for a new track, “Why Don't You Come On”. Listen below.

DJDS, a duo comprised of  Jerome LOL and Samo Sound Boy, are best known for collaborating with Kanye West on The Life of Pablo. They are credited as producers for some of the album’s most notable tracks, including “Ultralight Beam”, “Father Stretch My Hand Pt. 1”, and “Fade”. 

DOOM and Adult Swim are releasing rare tracks weekly in a 15-week series called The Missing Notebook Rhymes that will go into November. This week is “Notebook 03”.

A. Savage, the frontman idiosyncratic frontman of Parquet Courts, is releasing a solo album this fall. The album’s called Thawing Dawn and it’s out October 13. Listen to a song from the album, below, called “Wild, Wild, Wild Horses”. Earlier, he shared a song called “Winter in the South”
