Of Course, Arcade Fire Played Some Nirvana in Washington State

The Arcade Fire played in Washington State's most beautiful venue, the Gorge, on Friday night, and I just KNEW they were going to deliver one of their place-specific covers, and that it would be a Nirvana song - Win Butler has spoken out as a big fan, and, as far as Washington State musical icons go, you wouldn't expect Arcade Fire to cover, like, the Blood Brothers (though, I mean, just think about how awesome that would be). Of course, they delivered some of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" bookending "Rococo," in their signature eerie, baroque style. Check out a video below.
