On Deck: Local Natives, Big Boi

Local Natives - "Careful"

The fantastic Aquarium Drunkard will be releasing it's new digital-only compilation of Los Angeles-based bands covering tracks from Television's classic 1978 album, Adventure. Proceeds of the compilation, dubbed Aquarium Drunkard Presents: L'Adventure, will benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, and will be available on June 22. Local Natives, one of the bands involved in this project, has covered "Careful", which you can download for free here.

Big Boi - "General Patton"

Big Boi continues to shower us with gifts from Sir Lucious Left Foot and beyond. This time, the rapper turned to Twitter to distribute "General Patton" freely. It's hard to tell if "General Patton" will even be on Sir Lucious Left Foot, or if the other awesomesongs we've heard over the past months will actually be on the album. All I know is that Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty will hit stores July 6, and every new Big Boi song that has leaked in the past year has been insanely good. For that already have Drake's Thank Me Later pegged as the best rap album of 2010, just wait for Lucious Left Foot to fuck all that up. You can stream and download "General Patton" here.

Eminem - "Not Afraid" (Music Video)

Neon Indian - "Sleep Paralysist" (Music Video)
