ON DECK: Eminem x Lil Wayne, Japandroids, WAVVES, Washed Out, Big Boi x Andre 3000, Crystal Castles x Memory Tapes

Eminem - "No Love" (feat. Lil Wayne)

Eminem's Recovery leaked two weeks early. Two weeks ahead of time, pretty good by today's standards, where no one bats an eye when an album hitting the internet a month ahead of schedule. As Nah Right points out, "No Love" with Lil Wayne is Recovery's sole rap feature — other guest spots come courtesy of Kobe Bryant (?!), Pink and Rihanna. It is interesting that though, that the only other rapper on this 16-track album happens to out-rap Eminem, despite his jabs at Kanye West. Hear it for yourself right here.

Japandroids - "Younger Us"

Japandroids are feeling premature nostalgia for their younger (middle school?) days in new anti-single "Younger Us". Like "Art Czars," "Younger Us" comes from the excellent Post-Nothing recording sessions. Also like "Art Czars," it didn't make the album's final cut. Like we reported back in February, Japandroids will release five 7" singles throughout 2010; I've been trying to keep count — "Younger Us" should be No.2. Each single will include a track from the Post-Nothing recording sessions and a cover. "Younger Us" will be backed by a cover of classic punk anthem "Sex and Dying in High Society" by X, and will be released on July 20 by Polyvinyl, but you can download the lead track for free now.

WAVVES - "Post Acid", plus Mixtape

Wavves have released "Post Acid" on Mountain Dew's Green Labal Sound imprint, which has already released free singles from bands like the Cool Kids, Neon Indian and Matt & Kim. "Post Acid" comes from WAVVES hotly anticipated new album, King of the Beach, which comes out on August 3 on Fat Possum. You can download the remarkably cleaned up first single, "Post Acid" for free here.

Washed Out - "You and I" (feat. Chairlift's Caroline Polachek)

Here comes another new, free song from another free single series, this time from Kia/Adult Swim (remember: Levi's and Mountain Dew are also releasing free singles from time to time). This week, Kia/Adult Swim are giving away a brand new Washed Out track, "You and I", featuring surprisingly ethereal croons by Chairlift's Caroline Polachek. Stream and download the new single here.

Big Boi - Lookin For Ya (feat. Andre 3000, Sleepy Brown)

Big Boi's highly anticipated Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty has finally got its an album cover and track list out in the open. Along with it came news that all Big Boi tracks with Andre 3000 are being blocked out of the album by the label Big Boi was previously signed with. Luckily, internet politics have been employed by Team Big Boi. Just moments after the news broke that any OutKast-esque tracks were to be removed from Sur Lucious, "Lookin' For Ya," a track featuring a verse from Andre, leaked onto the rap blogs. "Lookin' For Ya" probably won't be included in Sir Lucious' final cut, but you wouldn't know that by looking at my iPod. How lucky are we, as fans, that we usually end up getting everything we want? Listen to Big Boi and Andre 3000 breathe life into the track here.

Crystal Castles - "Suffocation" (Memory Tapes Remix)

One thing I like almost as much as I like Crystal Castles' second self-titled album, are remixes of key tracks from Crystal Castles second self-titled album. The remix from gauntly chillwaver, Dayve Hawk (also known as Memory Tapes) is nothing short of staggering. The original is thumping, kinetic; Memory Tapes strips that raw energy like it gave the track a hefty dose of horse tranquilizers. The results come in the form of a cloud of dreamy pop sounds that would not feel out of place in a GAYNGS record. Listen to the remix here.

Lady GaGa - "Alejandro" (Music Video)
