Double new M.I.A. today. This one, however, is a bit more mysterious. The new M.I.A. song, "Stepping Up" was premiered by BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe and its said to be a possible new single. The funny thing is that "Stepping Up" is nowhere on the tracklist for /\/\ /\ Y /\. Either Maya is adding new tracks to her album, "Stepping Up" is mis-labeled, or this song is being sent off to the new Step Up 3D soundtrack. Whatever the situation is, there is a new M.I.A. track available for you to hear, and it's quite good. Listen to it here.
While M.I.A.'s new single, "XXXO" is still growing on me with every listen, this remix featuring a verse from Jay-Z himself sure doesn't hurt.
