Taylor Swift has returned with her first proper single since releasing 1989 in 2014, a cool, cavernous drive-by called “Look What You Made Me Do” that’s reminiscent of Britney Spear’s underrated nihilistic classic Blackout. During a spoken-word bridge, Taylor says, “I’m sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, because she’s dead.” You can stream it below.
Swift’s new album, Reputation, is out November 10. According to a press release, Taylor is publishing two magazines to go along with the album to be sold exclusively at Target.
