Yesterday we revealed that Tokyo Police Club were kicking off a new project entitled 10 Songs, 10 Hours, 10 Years where they would be covering ten tracks, each from one of the last 10 years, releasing a song a day for ten days. That's some serious dedication.
Yesterday the first track of the venture was released into the world with their cover of Moby and Gwen Stefani's “Southside,” with M83's Morgan Kibby contributing Stefani's part. Today, it's a rendition of Jimmy Eat World's classic anthem “Sweetness,” and features Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos providing his smooth soprano. Like “Southside,” TPC keep this tune pretty much intact. Check back tomorrow for the next installment.
