Unknown Mortal Orchestra cover Otis Redding

We actually think this makes great sense.

We actually think it makes great sense that Unknown Mortal Orchestra would choose Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" to cover during their BBC 6 Music live session - the band deliver their best material when they smartly update the structures of classic soul and R&B with a little distorted, psychedelic energy. Dudes also know how to perfectly summon a nostalgic, sun-crisped feeling that we think would definitely make Otis proud, and that whistled line at the end is totally charming. Check it out.
