REC'D: Sia - "Chandelier"

Check out the longtime top 40 songwriter's new powerhouse single.

Chances are, if you've loved a top 40 pop song in the past couple years, the brilliant Australian songwriter Sia Furler had a hand in it - from appearing on David Guetta's "Titanium" and FloRida's "Wild Ones" to writing songs with Beyonce, Rihanna, Lea Michele, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and pretty much everyone else. She hasn't released an album under her own name since 2010's We Are Born, though, so consider her awesome new song "Chandelier" to be sort of a comeback, in which she comes smashing through the window swinging from, you guessed it, a chandelier, with a powerhouse vocal performance guaranteed to give you chills. Check out the song along with its attendant video, starring a young, energetic dancer in a fire code-breaking apartment. Sia's new record 1000 Forms of Fear is due out next month - stay tuned.
