"Don't go back 'til you're ready to remember," goes the chorus of "Left To Wonder." "There's a crack and you're leaving me left to wonder." It's an early but warm morning. The lights are still off in your house, and you can smell the coffee brewing. As you read, you notice the front door is cracked open, casting a streak of orange morning light across the floor's shadows. I think WALL's song was written in a place and time like that, or at least I enjoy being taken to that sanctuary whenever I hear "Left To Wonder."
WALL is a relatively new artist from London. This is off her excellent debutEP, Shoestring—whose title track and first single is also well worth a listen. The EP will be available April 1st.
