Watch Thom Yorke Play A Surprise DJ Set In L.A.

Anyone in attendance at the Roosevelt Hotel Tuesday night is one lucky sob!

It's only time before Thom Yorke realizes that, while the Atoms for Peace album was good and all, what he should have focused on for a side project is beats, beats, and beats! I mean, the Radiohead frontman has long been a fan of progressive electronic music, merging it into his main band's ethos and collaborating with such forward-thinkers as Burial and Four Tet, Caribou, Modeselektor and Flying Lotus. He's regularly DJ'd at bars and clubs, which you can tell is a genuine interest of his because he's not doing it for fame or fortune. Case and point: on Tuesday night, as Stereogum points out, he stopped by Los Angeles' Roosevelt Hotel and performed an unannounced DJ set. Fortunately, those lucky enough to be in attendance snapped some Instagram footage, which you can view below. To my absolute delight, he spun Pional's mesmerizing "It's All Over," and also, Jai Paul's "Jasmine."
