I have a really dumb sense of humor, but so do Yacht. Last year they released an EP called Where Does This Disco?—I still laugh at that—and now they’ve announced their new album, I Thought The Future Would Be Cooler. I also laughed at that, but the title isn’t so much funny as it is self-aware and kind of sad. In seven words, the same words make up the title for the album’s lead single, Yacht effectively capture the absurdity of modern life.
