Arcade Fire Rearrange "We Used To Wait" & "Sprawl II"


The reigning champions of indie, Arcade Fire, continue to wow and impress fans over a year after their Grammy Award winning The Suburbs was released. The band were recently in Chicago and stopped by local radio station WBEZ's own Sound Opinions studio to play two slightly tweaked jams from the record “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” and “We Used To Wait.”

The 8-piece collective reinterpreted the tracks in the riveting in-studio performance, Win Butler performing a quieter, acoustic version of “We Used To Wait,” accompanied by gentle violin strings, his wife Regine Chassagne providing powerful vocal harmonies whilst she plays grand piano during “Sprawl II.” Check out videos of both performances below:
