That song that you probably couldn't get out of your head for all of last year now has an accompanying video. It's been a good start for Los Angeles based Foster The People, whose “Pumped Up Kicks” was one of the biggest summer jams of 2010.
Since then, the group has released an EP that consists of two friendly, electro-pop gems in “Helena Beat” and “Houdini” that surprisingly sound more like Passion Pit than “Pumped Up Kicks.” Their newly released video shows Mark Foster and his cohorts playing a very energetic live set, pays attention to their shoes of course, and as its overflowing with summerness, displays some rad surfing as well. Expect some big things from these guys, there's a rumor afloat that a debut full length will drop this year.
