Foxygen announce new album Hang, share "Follow the Leader"

New album, out in January, features 40-piece orchestra on every song
Publish date:

Foxygen returned last month with the suite-like “America”, and as expected it was just a taste for something bigger. The band has announced a new album, Hang, and it’s out on January 20. “America” hinted at it, but now we have confirmation: every song on Hang will feature a 40-piece symphonic orchestra conducted and arranged by Trey Pollard. Matthew E. White contributed additional arrangements. Hang features additional contributions from the Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd and campy Long Island pop band the Lemon Twigs. Foxygen’s Sam France and Jonathan Rado wrote and produced the whole thing.

The band has also shared a video for new single, “Follow the Leader”. Watch that below and check out Foxygen’s new album art, tracklist, and tour dates.
