Happy International Women's Day! If you'd like to get your morning off to a patriarchy-crushing start (who wouldn't?) check out The Knife's gender-role-subverting video for new single "A Tooth for an Eye," which'll be the first track on their upcoming record Shaking the Habitual. Roxy Farhat and Kakan Hermansson direct a group of inexpert male dancers, some more macho than others, who take their cues from a young woman coach as she sings along with The Knife's lyrics: "I'm telling you stories, trust me!" It's an incredible song, too, all percolating layers of sound. The video features a shortened edit of the track, so check out the six-minute full version too. Shaking the Habitual is out in April.
