Lana Del Rey shares amazing short film Tropico, names new album

Lana Del Rey Tropico

It's finally here - Lana Del Rey's long-awaited half-hour short film / biblical allegory "Tropico," directed by her longtime video collaborator Anthony Mandler and produced by Rick Rubin, featuring her songs "Body Electric," "Gods and Monsters," and "Bel Air." Consider the video your must-watch of the day - with Jesus, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and John Wayne making appearances within the first minute, how could it not be? As though the video weren't enough, Lana revealed that her almost-complete new record's titled something like Ultraviolence, according to a video shot by a fan at the video's premiere screening in L.A. (we hope it's the former and is a Clockwork Orange concept piece). Check out the video - we'll keep you posted on the upcoming record.
