Capping the Beatles week at Letterman honoring the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's legendary performance on The Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, Lauryn Hill covered "Something" off the band's monumental 1969 album, Abbey Road. This was her first TV performance since being released from prison for tax evasion.
Earlier in the week, The Flaming Lips appeared with Sean Lennon to perform "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," from the band's most famous album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Broken Bells and Ringo Starr also appeared together to perform the A Hard Day's Night classic "And I Love Her."Sting showed up to do "Drive My Car" from Rubber Soul, and Lenny Kravitz did late-Beatles jam “Get Back.” CBS is staging a star-studded tribute to The Beatles on Sunday, February 9 at 8pm eastern.
