Neon Indian - "Mind Drips" Music Video

Pioneering chillwaver Alan Palermo is now a music video pioneer as well – the clip for “Mind, Drips,” the typically psychedelic latest single off 2009’s still-fruitful Psychic Chasms, sees directors Lars Larsen and Edward Leckie trip up an Alice in Wonderland-esque fairytale with a video synthesizer that creates undulating light fields to match the song’s throbbing electronic beats. It’s reportedly the first music video to use this technology, and it’s pretty cool – initially the light pulses seem a little cheesy, but they’re truly stunning towards the song’s second half. Give it a watch and listen.
