Robyn Performs "Dancing On My Own", "Indestructible" at Nobel Peace Prize Concert

Because nothing says world peace like bright, dancy Swedish pop, Stockholm singer and songwriter Robyn stopped by the Nobel Peace Prize’s annual concert in Oslo to perform two highlights off her latest album, Body Talk, and a traditional Swedish song, before a massive audience of seated diplomats.

Unfazed by the awkward audience, the chanteuse and her mesmerizing mirrored backing band of two drummers and two keyboardists deliver on shimmering dance floor single-girl anthem “Dancing On My Own” – Robyn’s own solo dance moves are endearingly appropriate – and are joined by a string section to unleash pulsating, rhythmic “Indestructible.” If pop music could bring about world peace Robyn would’ve probably been awarded a Nobel herself years ago, so maybe her invitation makes perfect sense.
