New Music: St. Vincent, Arcade Fire, Father John Misty

St. Vincent put out a music video today for her single “New York”. The track will presumably appear on Annie Clark’s upcoming album, which she describes as “all about sex and drugs and sadness.” It’s expected this fall.

You can watch “New York” below. The director of the video had this to say: “I think Annie’s New York is the New York of my dreams—one that is blurry and fractured, dreamy and flat. It is the Toontown to my Hollywood. It is beautiful but slightly out of reach.”

Portishead’s Geoff Barrow has remixed Arcade Fire’s jagged downer of a single “Creature Comfort” from Everything Now.  Check it out below.
