A year later and we're still bumping Kurt Vile's Walkin' on a Pretty Daze - hailed as one of the finest albums of 2013 - though it's always refreshing to hear new music from the singer/songwriter, even if it's not necessarily his own. Vile appeared on Australian TV's RockWiz the other day, which, according to its Facebook, is "Australia’s premier live music trivia quiz TV program featuring an entertaining mix of celebrities, chat, music, and comedy." During which, Vile performed a lovely cover of Neil Young's "Albuquerque" alongside Alpine singer Phoebe Baker, and also played one of his own gems, "Snowflakes Are Dancing." First, the Arctic Monkeys covered Tame Impala's "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" on Triple J's Like A Version, and now this?? Why do Australians get to have all the fun???
